Set up your brand and voice.

Give your bots your look and the way you write, so what they draft sounds like you.

Your bots write better when they know how you sound. Brand and voice collects your name, colours, fonts, logo and examples of your best writing, then builds a voice guide every bot in the space uses.

Build it

  1. Open Settings › Brand and voice (or choose Set up brand and voice after installing a team).
  2. Add the name you write and speak as. Nothing starts until there's a name.
  3. Add your social profiles, one link per line.
  4. If you know them, add your colours (for example #1D3557) and fonts (for example Playfair Display).
  5. Add your logo (PNG, JPEG or SVG).
  6. Drop in examples of your best work: books, articles, posts, talk transcripts or talk videos. Finished work, not drafts.
  7. Choose Build my brand and voice. It takes a few minutes, and you can leave the page while it works.

Check it sounds like you

When it's done, you'll see a sample paragraph written in your voice.

  • If it's right, choose Approve.
  • If not, type a change such as "more casual" or "never say unlock" and choose Apply change.

Change it later

Choose Run setup again any time. It keeps the edits you've made. The files it makes live in the space's folder, so you (or we) can also edit them by hand.
